BeltLoop is a music publishing management platform operated by BeltLoop, LLC. We help music publishers and songwriters manage catalogs, calendars, and pitches. Our website is beltloop.app.
We collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address and profile details, and the content you upload or create in BeltLoop, such as songs, audio and calendar events. We also collect basic technical information, such as log data and cookies, needed to run the service. If you connect Google Calendar, we receive the calendar information described in section 4.
We use your information to provide, maintain, secure and improve BeltLoop and to communicate with you. We do not sell your personal information.
BeltLoop’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If you connect Google Calendar, BeltLoop accesses your calendar list and the events on the calendars you choose, such as each event’s title, time, location and creator. We use this only to provide BeltLoop’s scheduling features: showing schedules, finding availability, and creating, updating and removing writing sessions. Members of the publishing company you work with may see and manage sessions on connected calendars, according to their role.
We store a copy of this calendar information to keep BeltLoop current, and delete it when the calendar is disconnected.
We use trusted service providers, including an AI provider, to help run these features. They receive only what is needed, act only on our instructions, and may not use your data to train their models. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we never sell it, and we do not use it to develop or train general AI models.
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings or in your Google account settings.
Your data is stored with reputable cloud providers, and we use industry-standard security practices to protect it. We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations.
Content you submit is shared within BeltLoop with the people and companies you work with, according to their role. We share information outside BeltLoop only with service providers who help us run it and are bound to protect it, when required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of our business. Our support staff may access your account when needed to provide support, keep the service secure or comply with the law.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. BeltLoop is not intended for children under 13.
